You know it's good when the restaurant is full of the ethnic people it represents. They are always busy and the food is always delicious. The Singapore noodle - is one of my favorites as well as the scrambled egg with beef

Been here so many times now, very authentic Cantonese cuisine, definitely the best Chinese food in OC! Always amazing service, the waiters are very observant. Their lunch set's great value and the dinner is really good value too for the amount of food you're getting. This has become my weekly spot and would recommend for everyone!

** Overall ** Come here if you want authentic dishes without the wait in neighboring cities. The people who started this place use to work at Sam Woo and other well-known Chinese restaurants. ** Taste / Authenticity ** (+1 star) It really doesn't get much better than this in the states. I'm sure you can find some niche super expensive restaurant, but this should be your go-to if you want your fix. We've tried numerous dishes on the menu and they all come out delicious and look/taste what we would expect from a Chinese restaurant. ** Quality ** (+1 star) Food is of reasonable quality and we have never detected any strange odors/taste in all of the years we've visited. ** Cleanliness ** (+1/2 star) Could be cleaner and a bit more updated in terms of seating/interior/etc. But it's fine for now. ** Service ** (+1 star) We have always received friendly service, with prompt touches. ** Value ** (+1 star) Comparable value compared to other nicer Chinese restaurants in the area. Not the most expensive, but certainly not the cheapest.

This is still my favorite Cantonese Chinese restaurant in the area. It is located in a small strip plaza next to the Laguna Hills DMV and senior center. Parking is plentiful but be prepared for long lines. I don't think there has ever been a time where I've gone and there was no line. If you have a large party, you can be seated in the back where it is slightly less congested and busy. I would recommend reservations if you have a large party. The food is hit or miss but even the misses are better than what you can get in most restaurants. During my last visit, we got the Peking Duck, Garlic Pea Shoots, Chicken in lettuce cups, shrimp in lettuce cups, tofu with enoki mushrooms, French style filet mignon, salt and pepper squid, and some kind of fried fish. Everything was pretty tasty. My favorites were the lettuce cups and the French style filet mignon. The lettuce cups were very flavorful and came with a lot of filling. The filet mignon was nice and tender. The two dishes I did not care for were the Peking Duck (duck had a strange texture and was mushy and pasty) and the salt and pepper squid (pieces were too large, tough to chew, and overly battered). The prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are commensurate. I will most definitely be back!

This restaurant specialized in Cantonese style Chinese dishes. We visited the place on a Saturday around noon. It was already jam packed and had many customers waiting for seats. We had reservation but were allowed seating only at the appointed time of the reservation. There is no waiting area inside the restaurant. Waiting has to be outside. The dining area is spacious and separated into a general dining area and a banquet area. The menu is extensive covering pretty much anything you are accustomed to and more. Food came soon after ordering. The presentation was good. Portions sizes were adequate. The Peking Duck looked impressive but the taste was very ordinary. Other dishes were tasty and piping hot when served. A bit of a drawback was that sauces for many dishes were too thick. Prices were reasonable. Service was adequate. Worth revisiting but strongly recommend to do reservation.

Came here for a birthday dinner and everything was perfect. I've been spoiled by the offerings in the SGV so it's hard to give a review without comparing the standard that is 40+ miles away. That being said, our party was thoroughly impressed with everything we ordered. The standouts were the enoki mushroom with tofu and the steamed fish. Service was quick, although when we visited on a weekday evening, it was already busy at 6 p.m. so we were asked to use the dining area next door. We were also surprised how busy this place got on a weeknight, testament to their quality of food. Plenty of parking but there is a DMV office near by so be forewarned if you're stopping by for lunch. I'd imagine parking could be a challenge during the day.

I love this place. Much better selection than SW before it closed. Been here many times and this place is my go to Chinese food place. The food is absolutely delicious. From authentic Chinese "village" food to the delicible Chinese Cuisine it's allll worth the trip. The service takes some getting used to since it's not geared towards high customer satisfaction just business. Highly recommend this place. Best time? Opening to 11:30am or after 2-2:30pm. As many ppl come from Laguna Woods between 11:30-2.
